Funding Options for Occupational Therapy Services
Autism Funding Unit (AFU)

For children using Autism Funding, we will provide an RTP form for you to fill out. We can then submit it for you or you can upload it through the parent portal.
Medical Benefits At-Home Program (AHP)

For children 5 years and older who meet the criteria for AHP funding, we can submit a Request for School-Age Extended Therapies form with occupational therapy (OT) goals. We will submit this form to AHP once information is gathered during your child’s initial OT assessment. AHP funding requests can be renewed each year until a child reaches 18 years old.
Private Funding/Extended Benefits

Many Extended Benefits plans cover occupational therapy (OT); you can provide payment and submit your invoices to your benefit provider for reimbursement. We accept cheque and e-transfer at this time.
Charity Funding

Charity funding agencies are one of many sources that help support our clientele.
CKNW Kid’s Fund and Variety Children’s Charity are regular supporters of our clients. For families requesting to use charity funding for occupational therapy (OT) services for their child, we will provide a letter of support for your charity application following your child’s OT assessment.
Home School Funding

If your child attends a home school or distance learning program, please contact your service provider regarding funding for occupational therapy (OT) services.
